How it Works

The Browser Extension

To use Dispute Finder, you need to install the Dispute Finder Firefox Extension. Support for other browsers may come later.

Once you have installed the extension, Dispute Finder will look for known disputed phrases on the web pages that you browse and highlight them when it finds them.

If a page contains something you think is disputed and Dispute Finder isn't highlighting anything, then that probably means you need to either tell Dispute Finder that the claim is disputed or tell Dispute Finder about the paraphrase used on that page.

We recommend that you get started by searching the web for one of the claims that is already in our database. For example:
