I'm writing this from a rather pleasant airport hotel next to Budapest airport. Budapest isn't a proper stop on my trip, but it seemed the easiest way to get to Sarajevo was to do an overnight layover in Budapest.

Tomorrow I'll be getting straight onto another plane without having a chance to see Budapest properly. Budapest is a great city, but I've been here before, so I'm ok with just zipping through.

The flight in was over an hour late, but made up for it by bumping me up to business class and then serving the best airline food I've ever had. I love Hungarian food.

The hotel is an airport hotel aimed at people who want to stay next to an airport on the way to somewhere else and so isn't particularly culturally interesting, but it does the job great.
